Aurora Aksnes was born on June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are among the artist's most notable covers. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway through her music, offered the song a boost of recognition. Honor her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an attic piano and being awed with the sounds it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to pursue the piano as a passion or a career. Thus, she began making her own lyrics. Alongside Bjork and Bjork, she also credits Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her decision to begin performing her music in public when her mother said they can help other people, not be famous with the work she does, but to help the people around them understand the significance of what they do and how they impact the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began making music at the age of nine. It took until her 14th birthday when she first told her parents. The dream was never to become Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes to compose songs. Music is her favorite way of feeling something.
